so im working on a t-ray for mugen I am unexpirinced in spriting and would love help also help on bases an if people could edit and shade for me also move list would be nice I want the community involed cause since ther going to be using char the most want lots of feed back to make him good and not crap also cant code and need voice actors but that comes later have done one stance and hope I don't get yelled at by any one

Good start and looks nice for a first try, check out the tutorial section for extra help on there first. I'll try and help out when I get some time.

Well try editing what's there and see what works together best, then after that find the character's .sff or spritesheets.

That was all just stuff to mix and match real quick.

Your original first sprite looked really good though, that was a good combination of bases. Maybe just recolor some stuff here and there.

You seem pretty advance in skills.

I ran in t the problem with the riders legs in shadeing cause of his hand being on the leg and I looked for legs that dident have hands on them from different char and started over and ill be re colering later when I have all the sprites on a sprite sheet for quick and eaisy editing

When sprite editing, you sometimes have to erase stuff like hands out of the legs and remake the leg part areas by hand by re-constructing it.

It takes a bit of practice, try imagining what it looks like underneath by the parts around the area or compared to a different frame that is clean.

Once you get used to it, it becomes really easy and eventually it will only take a minute to do. You may also develop scratch editing skills as well.


It doesn't have to be perfect and if you'll notice Ghostrider had his details remade, originally his base was in KoF style which does not look like MvC style art at all!!! But with this technique, he was turned into MvC style art.
