 DOES PROJECTILES ACCEPT EXPLODS FOR BURNING EFFECT?

hello friends!

a question for you...

i want to make a effect of opponent burning after hit by a fireball.

but the fireball is a projectile and not a hitdef.

is possible a projectile accepts a explod or helper to execute the burning fx.

or projectile doesn´t accept it.

i use these 2 types of flames for it.

try putting this in the explod trigger

trigger1 = (NumProj("you should put the projectile's ID here"), movehit) && (NumProj("you should also put the projectile's ID here"), !movereversal)

This code means that the explod appears when the projectile hits an enemy (guarding does not count) and when the projectile hits the enemy when he is in a reversal state (theese states are comonly used for counter attack moves)

This is a shot in the dark though as i always used helpers as projectiles, i have very few experience using projectiles because i learn to make them using helpers

solved problem!!!

just add this trigger.

trigger1 = ProjContactID = 1

ID = the number of your projectile = example ProjContact221 = 1

A side MUGEN note => all the Move***** triggers are not working with the pure MUGEN non-Helper Projectiles.......only the real main player and a MUGEN Helper can use the Move***** triggers.

And if your MUGEN Helper makes use of some pure MUGEN non-Helper Projectiles, all the MUGEN Projectile Triggers must have the "Root, xxxx" Trigger Redirection because all MUGEN non-Helper Projectiles belong to the real main player (Root).  But if your make your MUGEN Helper a "player" helpertype then it can be a different MUGEN story............. scared
