my next WIP - sprites almost complete, the next week I will start coding

Before Lupin the 3rd, before Kaito Kid, before Ocean's eleven, before Deadpool, in the 60's was born the great italian legend, the king of thieves, a cruel assassin

"Diabolik is a ruthless master thief. He typically steals from criminals (and has no issue with killing them if need be, but rarely, if ever, kills the innocent or the police), and has a set of lifelike masks which he uses to fool his opponents, assuming every identity at his will. He seems to have a deep knowledge in many scientific fields, including chemistry, mechanics and computers. In his first appearances, Diabolik was a more straightforward villain who did not hesitate to murder anyone in order to accomplish his deeds. He was later given a more "Robin Hood"-like persona and was shown stealing essentially from criminals, in order to soften the series’ violence and amorality". (from wikipedia)

thanks to all, I know this char isn' t enough known, but in Italy he is the most iconic comic char, better than Dylan Dog, Rat-Man, or Martin Mystere....the only comic who could be enough famous is TEX, a western comic

I love working on the best chars like:

-the most iconic Super Robots - Mazinger and co.
-the best known belgium chars- the smurfs
-the most iconic videogame char - pac-man
-the most iconic pulp hero - tarzan
and now, the most iconic italian comic char

I have so many projects on my mind, but not time for each of them....Conan the barbarian and Tomorrow joe (rocky joe in Italy) could be the next, but I m not sure if I will have time for mugen the next year, so I can't start a new project before january 2017

The most interesting thing is that you bring very amusing characters from comics other than marvel and Dc universes

I am glad you mentioned this. That same year (1968 presumably) there was an American version of him that they made a series of played by Robert Wagner. Unlike Diabolik, he was much more a James Bond Master Thief which America took the elements of Diabolik and James Bond (taking Italy and England in one -_-).

I got to watch this movie. It came out in 1968 I believe or 1969.
