 1.0 stages and characters to 1.1

PostSubject: 1.0 stages and characters to 1.1   June 5th 2016, 2:21 pm

hello everyone,

First off i like to say i enjoy this site, so much creativity and its amazing what characters are being made for Mugen 'Happy to see StarLord Being Worked on'

and yesterday i made the switch from 1.0 to 1.1, however one thing i notice that the characters look big in the stage, like their heads touching the lifebar, and its all characters, all stages it does this.

is their anyway to fix this, also half my roster is 1.0, whats the difference and how can i convert characters and stages to 1.1?

Japanese MUGEN author "nineball aka ⑨" has made some good points about MUGEN1.0 and MUGEN1.1:

A quick way to fix the stages so that the characters don't look as big is to zoom out the stage and edit the left, right, low, and high bounds in the stage .def file. It should be one of the first things you look at under [Camera]. Just add the zoomin and the zoomout and adjust the rest. It should look something like this:


[Camera]
startx = 0
starty = 0
;211
boundleft = -170 <-- Adjust
boundright = 170 <-- Adjust
boundhigh = 0 <-- Adjust
boundlow = 0 <-- Adjust
verticalfollow = .5
tension = 50
Zoomin = .8 <-- Add
Zoomout = .8 <--Add

Decrease, and by the amount of the zoom (for example) if you are decreasing the zoomin and out to .8 the right and the left bound would have to be decreased by 80%.. so the 170 would have to be decreased by 34 to 136 to receive the maximum amount of scrolling that you can do on the stage. Just mess around with it a little is the best way to learn what works best.
