I think I've reached that moment in Mugen when I feel that I can make full game. So, the Punisher World Warzone is born. With this project I didn't want it to be something that was talked about but no one ever got to play until it was in a more complete state. With this project i'm going to do the opposite and release weekly updates as I work on the game so you don't have to wait to play. This also means the game with be in a ruff state for a while, but feedback will helpful to fix that. For now the game is Mugen 1.1.

Concept : The game is based around Punisher traveling the world and killing badguys. He teams up with fellow street crime fighters like Mike Haggar and Cody from Final Fight etc... All characters will be from a beat'em up games and need to be roughly the same size as the Punisher. The game will also be interactive. You can pick up weapons, smash objects and do finishers.

Move List - Punisher

Specials :
Pistol Shot ~ D, DF, F + Punch (without knife) (Can be fired more than once by repeating same punch button press)
Knife Throw ~ D, DF, F + Punch (with knife)
Air Knife Throw ~ D, DF, F + Punch (with knife)
Rifle Shot ~ D, DF, F + Kick (hold up or back to change direction of shot)

Hypers :
Grenade Toss ~ Charge back, Forward + 2 Punch buttons (hold up, down or back to change direction of grenade)
Rifle Unload ~ D, DF, F + two Kick buttons

Finishers :
Finish opponent with Pistol (random chance)
Finish opponent with Rifle
Finish Opponent with Medium punch Throw
Finish Opponent with Hyper Grenade

Hypers :

Wrestling Champ ~ 360 degrees + 2 Punch buttons

Move List - Blaze

Specials :
Kikou Shou ~D, Df, F + Punch
Vertical Slash ~F, DF, D, DB, B + Punch
Embukyaku ~D, DF, F + Kick (Medium kick version can be cancelled into the Vertical Slash once back on the ground)

Strikers :
Max ~same punch + kick buttons at the same time

Move List - Blob

Specials :
Rubble ~D, DB,B + kick
Ground Smash ~F, D, F + Punch

Hypers :
Mutant Mayhem ~F, D, F + 2 Punch buttons

Strikers :
Pyro ~same punch + kick buttons at the same time

Stage Finishers :
Finish opponent with a standing or air melee attack on on Factory stage anywhere on the left hand side of the stage.
Finish opponent with any normal melee attack while standing or jumping on Syrian Desert Refinery stage in the left-center or right-center of the stage.

Glad you like the concept guys. I should have another update soon with some more goodies & bug fixes. Feel free to post what you like and dislike about the progress of the game as updates come out.

~Update Notes ~

Cody:
Added Cody to roster

Punisher:
Can now air combo into air knife throw.
Added Air Knife throw to AI.
Win quotes added (Even though screenpack is still in bad shape)
New Guard FX.
Fixed Jump Down with Knife Anim after attack.
Fixed Stand Block hitbox.
Various other tweaks.

Interactive Stages:
Added 2 Ninja Warriors stage #2 & #5 by Vagaz Parrelli.
Fixed Barrel Spawning clone and now spawns a drop.
added music to Sewer Final Fight 3 stage.
added music for Factory Final Fight stage.
added music for Museum Captain Commando stage.


Cody is pretty bare bones like Punisher right now on his move set, but at least he's playable. His rock throw is terrible with low damage and long cool off time. His damage is slightly better than Punisher's on melee attacks. He can also wield the knife from drops.

Cody:

Fixed Rifle Finisher from performing finisher in air.

~Update Notes~

Pretty Boy:
Added Special - Jack Hammer.
Added Hyper - Cyber Slam.
Added standing medium punchs/knife slashs.
Added standing medium kicks.
Added Intro.
Fix walk at different transformations.
Attempted to add get hit tranformations, but so far it's a mess.

Cody:
Added weapon drop anim to taunt.
Fixed Knife color on palette

Punisher:
Added Special - Pistol
Added Hyper - Rifle Unload
Fixed FX with words reading backwards.
Head Pop finisher now has an alternate animation.
Pistol Finisher is set to random on whether or not it will play.
Changed Rifle to be slower on the draw, but increased the speed of the bullet.
Changed Rifle from punch to kick buttons.

Screenpack:
Fixed discolor on turns partner portrait for normal res version.
Started to convert finished stuff from normal res screenpack to 720P version.
The 720P version is avalible for download.

Started playing around with Palette ideas, instead of palettes with diff colored pants etc..., let's ratchet it up a notch by introducing outfits. If people are ok with my resizing the sprites and touching them up a little then I could make alternate costumes instead of palette swaps. Idea worth pursing or waste of time for all those transformations?

About to jet out for the Fourth. Before I do I want to release an update. Haggar has joined the roster. Some of his melee attacks have placeholder animations till I can get around to spriteing some more attacks.

Haggar:
Added Haggar to roster.
Some moves have temp sprites. I'll update as I go along.

Cody:
Fixed Hyper attack to have the correct guard flag.
Changed when Cody is twirling around in his hyper attack from not being hit by anything to not hit by standing or crouching normal attacks and throws.
Hyper KO FX now plays if killed by Tornado during hyper.
Decreased the Tornado damage.
Changed Vs/Win Screen portrait.
Started to implement stage awarness for moves. So far only Cody and Haggar recognize the TMNT Pirate Ship stage. Cody Throws Waterballs instead of dirt, but missing some FX anims right now. Haggar does water splash FX for slams instead of dirt FX.

Interactive Stages:
Changed sound of health pickup.
