 MvC Donkey Kong Update 2

PostSubject: MvC Donkey Kong Update 2   March 24th 2016, 6:03 am

Hi, I tried to make a MVC Donkey Kong. I hope you like him.
spezial thanks to Aperson98 and AxKing for making the sprites.



update List:

Update 1
- new big portrait.
- 7 new palettes from SSBB / SSB4.
- he has now 2 intros and 2 win poses.
- he has now a better A.I.
- added damage dampener.
- added missing hitboxes on the attacks and fix some animations.
- added missing hitboxes in the dodge / roll mechanic.
- delete the old throw and give him a new one.
- added missing Coconut hit sprite.
- added super armor on the Big Punch during charging.
- the Roll Tackle special has now a weak and medium variation.
- the Lariat special has now a weak variation.
- he has 2 new specials, Banana throw and Rolling Uppercut.
- Mine Cart hyper reduce the damage from 300 to 200 and is now faster and has more reach.
- Siberian Blizzard hyper works in air too.
- delete the 2 Power Up hyper and give him 2 new hypers, Gigaton Blow and Mega Punch.

Update 2
- Bugs fixed
- He is now bigger, from 0.5 x 0.5 to 0.8 x 0.8
- fixed some hit animations.
- change the guard push effect sprites.
- change the ground flash effect sprites.
- change the dash effect sprites.
- rework the second Intro & second Win pose.
- added missing voice sound in the dodge / roll mechanic.
- DK Arcade stage by Arachno-Man with music includet.

feedback:

- No damage dampener.
- Why is he a midget? This isn't a gamebreaking issue, it's just something that caught my eye.
- I can do 360 damage with one meterless combo. That does more than his Shinkuu tatsumaki.
- The damage Buff hyper is odd. I feel that it should be a special move and not a hyper since it only increases the damage of one attack.
- I can chain LK into MK and back again. I can chain the crouching MP into itself three times.
- The minecraft hyper doesn't travel the full screen. I see you're going for a SFA styled M Bison Psycho Crusher, but it doesn't really work if he stops at a certain distance.
- The dodge and roll don't have hitboxes. Games with a dodge/roll mechanic can be thrown out of said dodge/roll. You should use a nothitby, like how the lariat has a nothitby from projectiles.
- I feel that the wind up punch would benefit from some armor.

It won't be for a very long time, but I've always wanted to do a Chuchoryu/POTS-style DK. Would it be okay if I used these sprites for that?
