PostSubject: SprPriority Help!   March 8th 2015, 10:05 pm

Hello people!

With My Krookodile char coming to an end, one doubt popped into my mind...
How do I add multiple hits in only one attack???

I'm using the helper and projectile codes and I want them to hit and keep hitting until the helper animation ends.
____________________EDIT__________________________

I've solved my combo problem, but now, I've found another one... :s
I'm having some trouble with the sprpriority code.

I'm doing a sandstorm attack, and the sprite was supposed to be in front of both characters, but when I stop moving, the char comes in front of the sandstorm... :s

I've read that if I put the sprpriority = 5, it should be in front of everything with a smaller sprpriority.
But it's not the case... :s

Please,   me people!

So, your Helper is using a Projectile state controller right?

If so, then it might be like this:

Code:
[State XXX, Projectile]
type = Projectile
Triggerall = IsHelper
triggerall = NumProj = 0
trigger1 = AnimTime != 0
;trigger1 = TimeMod = [some number here], [some number here]  ;;;;;;;; up to you to use this to make some "spacing" in between
ignorehitpause = 1
projID = [some number here]
projanim = [some number here]
projhitanim = [some number here]
projremanim = [some number here]
projcancelanim = [some number here]
projremove = [some number here]  ;;;;;; it shall be the value of 1
projremovetime = [some number here]  ;;;;;;;;; normally it is the Helper animation time
postype = p1
offset = [some number here], [some number here]
attr = A, NP
animtype = Light
hitflag = MAF
guardflag = MA
ground.type = High
damage = [some number here],[some number here]
numhits = [some number here]  ;;;;;;;;;; this is where you define how many hits
pausetime = [some number here],[some number here]
guard.pausetime = [some number here],[some number here]
fall = [some number here]  ;;;;;;;;; most of the time it is 0 for multiple hits and you might want to add another Projectile state controller for the last blow, well it depends on you of course...
kill = [some number here]
......
......
......
......

Thanks borewood2013, I've solved my combo problem!! Very Happy

ontop = 1 is for Explod state controller only, and it is so powerfully cool for any Explod-based FXs! Cool

If you want more control, then using Helper state controller can be a good choice. yes

By using Helper state controller for FXs, you can do a lot more like conditional on-the-fly sprpriorities, angle changing, transparency changing, palette changing for players and background, side turning, adding sounds, player/enemy bindings.....etc.... geek
I learned how to use Helper state controller for advanced FXs when I was mugenizing fancy-FXs-heavy OMK characters.... Idea

Hey I think Projectile state controller can also be used for some FXs too!  Just make sure using ground.type = None..... Wink

I notice sparks in HitDef state controller always has a "hidden" ontop = 1 property? Surprised
