Anybody else play Warner's old characters and think they feel increasingly dated and unpolished to play well I'm planning
to give most  of Warner's old characters a big overhaul in gameplay and movesets My current WIP is Big Chicken and after him I plan to go to Leela and update her.   Anyway the list of general changes and changes for the character in progress

General for most characters
-SF3 sfx  instead of MVC or Mugen default with a few exceptions
- Removal of MVC backgrounds in super/hyper moves
- Supers now doing only damage proportional to how much super bar it takes.  
  (No more 400 damage super taking only 1 bar)  
- Hitboxes redone for optimization
- English voices for characters that don't already have one  
- General decloning from KFM meaning a lot of chars will no longer do variants of KFMs moves with Leela being the exception as she kinda fits with his moveset.

And as for Big Chicken himself
-Two new special moves Rolling tackle grab and Pipe smash with KFM clone moves being deleted
-slightly floatier physics
- 2 air jumps vs 5 for Warners version
- Fire extinguisher is now   04  03  02  01  00  +   punch now It stuns a little longer,
but is now very unsafe on block.
- Card projectile move removed his wind gust projectile will now be his only one.
- Super moves will no longer be activated by  02  03  04  plus two attack buttons
 you must input QCF twice and only one attack button.
- Big bird super now kicks faster
- intro music no longer plays when skipped
- Some elements of Judgespears version will be imported to this version.

aperson98 what you are doing/have been doing/have done is very noble! 

IMHO editing/fixing other MUGEN authors' MUGEN stuff can sometimes be harder to do!  study

Love your Fred update!  Your "make hime play less like a poor mans shoto clone" change is cool!  sunny

I few updates to show some progress

When I said I was redoing hitboxes I want to show just what I mean I'm not just going to lazily doing only a moves and be done with it no I mean redoing almost all of them because honestly a lot of the hitboxes are either KFM leftovers or are bad CLSNs done with Auto CLSN to show what i mean this is just one example of the hitbox cleanup

Also after looking at some of Big chickens sprites from his KFM clone moves I decided to redo some these animations as close/far normals instead what do you guys think?

And last but not least a recoded run state where he now skids to a stop rather then immediately going to stand.

Thanks I feel the shoto moves were something Fred wouldn't do honestly if Fred really had a fighting style I oddly think Drunk Irishman would be closer then a skilled marital artist.

Big bump/update got a preview of the latest special move Fire punch the image
below is the new EX version of the move those who love Smash Bros will get a
kick out of this and yes the voice clip is there.

I'm trying to add a few more finishing touches before I release him i have also
been toying with the Idea of giving Big chicken an Alpha counter from SFA3
anyone like the idea? Oh and if someone can find me tutorial on how to code on
Alpha counters that would be a big help.

Well now that Big Chicken is done I may as well introduce the next
character on on this WIP thread that WIP is of course Peter Griffin
I plan on making Peter slower, and sightly  more powerful then
Warner's version I will be removing his superjump and air chains
His bottle move also is a bit different now as this gif will show.

As you can see Peter now throws the Bottle in an arc rather then straight
toward p2, Peter can delay the throw as well by drinking the bottle while
drinking Peter can slowly regain health and power.

Oh before I forget for those looking to Download the Big chicken

That looks very good on Peter.

You should add Bird is the Word for Peter's new win pose. I saw the scene where Peter dances to Bird is a word from the show:

Big update on Peter here Showcasing not just one new special move, but two his
Roadhouse kick and his new butt stomp inspired by the Back to the Multiverse video
game.

His Roadhouse will be a good way to get some juggles in now as his old MVCish launchers will
pretty much be phased out as well as the air chains oh and his Butt stomp can be used in the
air as well.

Sorry about the severe lack of updates the past two months a lot has been going on,
anyway Big updates and a lot of gifs to share warning its gonna be a big post.  
First a revised Steroid man-

I have made it a level 3 now and it's ending is altered to a powerful uppercut into the sky.
It is also no longer able to be used in the air same goes for anal torch. Speaking of anal
torch I removed and revised one move due to is similarity to it his Ipecac super is now
Ipecac puddle his final new special move It works like Sub Zeros Ice puddle nuff said.

Peter also has a new level 1 super Power Ax handle not very flashy, but it gets the job done.

And lets not forget his Alpha counter.

And finally (yes finally) his new super taunt PB and J Brian

Its forces p2 to dance with Peter during its duration don't panic though while
unblockable it deals zero damage and is good only for a laugh.
I hope to give a nice November release hopefully I can make that deadline.
