Yes, Perhaps if a few more sprites were completed. Maybe something for his intro, winpose, and taunt. I wanted to do his blades, but I can't sprite as well as what was already done, so it didn't work. But there's always room for improvement, and you work with what you can.

Certain attacks are missing blue clsns over the red ones


This hyper is an infinite as it stuns the enemy and allows you to use it once again.

The sweep counts as 2 attacks for whatever reason

The hard kicks/punches cause knockdown,is that really necessarry?It doesn't let the player follow up with a special and thus doesn't allow 1-2-3-S combos that MVC allows

Also,cross comboing(light punch>light kick) isn't possible with this bug dude.

Your projectiles dont have blue clsns either,so when I shot a projectile at your projectile,they don't hit each other.

Actually connecting 1-2-3 punch combo is difficult.Maybe tweak his animations a bit?

Overall,good job,still needs work,but not bad.

I've just tried out you Blue Beetle and I must say he's awesome. Allthough he is missing a taunt which in particular I don't like nor use taunts when I play fighting games but evidently that's part of fighting games, so maybe in the future when you have time you can make him some. Also I don't know if he allready has it but I couldn't throw/grab with him. I either don't know what buttons to press to make him grab or you didn't give him one but just letting you know. Other than that, like I said he's awesome. Smooth to play with, combos come out with ease and so do the hypers he's basically good overall. I really would like to see also if you can and I don't if you thought about this or he does this allready but you can combine the hypers together like you do in the SF EX games. Once you do one hyper you can then do the other one right after you did the first one.

So many good criticisms. I'll try to take a look at it and fix what i can soon. I appreciate everyone being patient and helping me with their ideas. I'm still kinda bad about combo and mechanics stuff because I'm a terrible button-masher myself. I swear I'm trying to get better!

The music was from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold soundtrack. It's the Ted Cord Beetle's theme.

You chose well the music this character.

Already tested the char with the other AI and was very good.

The Blue Beetle has agility and its fighting style is distinctive of the other characters.

Congratulations to the team for this amazing character!
