Your stand on this is noted! That said, I'll still see what everyone else wants, too. I was just curious if anyone wanted to try him out, and give me insight on any bugs early on.
I think I could pull off making a few attacks for an alpha, but we'll see. Wink Thanks for voting!

Sorry for slow progress everyone. I've been so busy with classes and other activities that I haven't even finished his basic attacks yet. Not to worry, though, within the last couple days, I've gotten more done. He now has standard punches and a couple kicks, plus some good combo ability.

He also has a move that changes depending on enemy distance. At normal range, he just performs a relatively harmless shove that knocks someone down and only does 1 damage point, so this is deliberately meant to get someone away from you, and also serves mainly as an annoyance. This is Sweet Tooth being nice, though, as this attack is only a facade to mask the real threat: if an enemy gets too close, he'll perform a swift, but devastating rib crusher attack that'll really cripple the victim if they get hit by it!

Please keep up the votes, and stay tuned for more! I will check the poll for the deciding factor once I finish all of his basic ground attacks.

If you wan't my opinion make the move take away at least 10/15 points, it is a bit low if you ask me, 1 is too weak and it should only be used for a taunt (sf3 Dudley and sf3 sean are a good example of what i mean)

Also if i could vote multiple times, your "yes please" option would be around 40-50 by my votes

Well, his taunt already does damage, but I suppose I could increase the shove's damage a little. It's sort of a taunt in its own way too, just one that's very fast and meant for combat, unlike the actual taunt, which is slow and simply has the ability to hit if someone gets too close.

I think 10 would be a good medium for it. And I appreciate your enthusiasm about the poll. lol

More or less. I'm hoping to make one of his supers involve the Sweet Bot, but it'll just show the Level 3 Super cutscene from PlayStation All-Stars before showing the enemy getting showered by a ton of bullets. If I had a model of the truck, I would totally utilize it more. Otherwise, it'll be implied that the truck is just off screen, as one of his special moves will be using a remote to fire missiles from the truck.

Don't worry everyone, progress has been very slow, but this project is not going to die. Just today I finished his two-hit "Machete Massacre" combo, so that leaves just one more ground attack (his chainsaw) before I deal with his aerial and crouching attacks.

I'm actually going on a trip back to the states to visit family and friends, but I am bringing my laptop, so I'll have time to work on Sweet Tooth some more. Hopefully I can finish his basic attacks not too long from now. I'll move on to specials once that's all done, and then his Hypers will be last.

Also, at this point, I think it's safe to say that there will not be an alpha, so don't worry about voting anymore.

Lastly, just to whet your appetite some more, here are his machete animations!

Nice progress update that you are having here!

Each pose is a piece of hard work!  This is just not easy and you are really good at this! Exclamation
Not to mention working with a laptop computer is not that comfortable (at least to me..)! Neutral

A question to ask you:  is that long knife coming with the Sweet Tooth model that you are using?  or do you need to attach the long knife to a weapon-less Sweet Tooth? Question

Thanks! The machete is actually a separate model that I downloaded and reskinned (which is why it has the white handle and red spots), so I have to readjust its positioning with every movement that Needles' arm makes.

Well, on the flight to the States, I was able to complete the chainsaw spin attack, so now all of his basic ground attacks are finished! Now I will move on to crouching attacks and aerials.
