hey guys, so there is alittle pickle about archangel, finally passed afew hard anims: blocking, special with darts throw, but there is still one pretty bad obstacle: flying animation
new wings sprites doesnt have this flaping animation, so there is two choices, either go with something like howering, like it was in tas:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.](i dont like this option)
or to re-do old wings to match new ones. i tried a quick edit, probably not final thing, but will not be much different from that, maybe just less slopy

let me know what you think guys, does it match?

ps. also if someone has in mind good hair for bishop, i really dont have anything for that myself currently (gill doesnt work, was my first choice, his hair flapping around too much) would be really appreciated

The first animation the wings are with an animation more fluid, the wings in flight mode seem to mayor, this doing a great job

redoing the wing for fly animation will be perfect, your "quick edit" is already awesome Razz

well, this fluid animation will still be used for stance, so it will not go to waste anyway
thanks and well, it was quick, relatively.. considering how much time some sprites are need to make
i didnt like that it has much more 'feathers', but if keep it to five like in other anims, it looks stretched and less matching... i guess we can assume that he can 'retract' some additional fethers for flying Wink

but i really in search for good hair for bishop, so bumping it again, if somebody have some idea in mind please do write

Flapping is much better in my opinion, the quick animation you made looks great, id love to him in full animation flapping those wings,
hovering feels cheap, looks good, just cheap
i like what you've done for the detail in the flapping wings

bishop hair? Just use psylocke or if you want some waves in the long hair, use Street fighter Alpha's Rose

i dont know if the size fits but maybe those capoeira fighter sprites may help for bishop hair

or maybe roy wilson from 3 Count Bout / Fire Suplex

i think they both look fine, so use which ever.

but i will say this, those sprites do match, so put your mind at ease there. remember, single sprites and extracted animations can sometimes not look as good as they would in game. in game, you have a background and other actions, so do not have to worry about as much as what you may not think looks perfect enough in single sprite form or extracted animations.
