I've wanted to make this version of Spider-Man ever since it was a Bonus Costume in Ultimate Spider-Man for PS2 and PC.

Here is what I got so far..

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The eye is not the right shape yet and there is still webbing on the costume.. other than that I used my own custom made Palette to give it the Yellow and Green..

Edit:

Updated the eye

Edit 2:

Updated webbing on Costume

Edit 3:

Stance complete:

Edit 4:

Alpha release (does not represent final release in future)

Edit 5:

Palette and sprites have been fixed up, still very early stages

Just a small update to those interested, I will be releasing a BETA for this Character soon, and by BETA, I mean it is mostly unfinished, but the Sound files are there and all the correct coding is present.

The BETA release will have the Stance animation complete which will work in both WinMugen and Mugen 1.0 However the rest of the sprites will be incomplete as I will be working on them and of course Updating its download when I complete more sprites.

Estimated release for first BETA: 1 week.

Well in that case it sounds like it's an alpha instead of a beta? You should also try and frankensprite his stance a little just to give the feel that it's a different character. I would also recommend 1 new move, just to offer something other than a spider-man clone.

Good luck though, this sounds very interesting based on the wiki entry.
Yeah it would be more of an Alpha, but I would just release what I have completed so far, the more I complete the more I update, and i'm thinking of a new intro to add into it (that will come later once the main sprites are finished).

Whilst I like what you have done with removing the webbing from his costume (and you have done a good job), there's a lot that needs to be done before this can be called even an alpha release. I'm not trying to be discouraging in any way, but the only thing different about this char is the stance.

Take a little time, perhaps look up some of Ax's spriting tutorials on this forum or others on youtube and work on it. I think its a little early for a release

I like that you're giving it a go though, keep at it! sonic

Yeah, theres alot to do yet. I am of course taking time into it, though I am releasing it as a download so I have an online backup (plus members/users can see the progress).

And I agree completely, however this is just early stages, but I will always release after i've finished sprites.
