What started out as a simple private re-spriting project turned out to be so much more.
I thought to myself that i would be respriting his costume and be done with it. Then i started to tinker with the animations,next thing i knew i was dabbling into coding (Mainly look at what other people have done, change it a little bit and put it in there). I consider none of these codes to be my original work. I guess frankencoding would be my word for it.

-Superman New 52 V 0.9
Note that it is not 100% done.
Due to my extreme inexperience with coding and mugen in general, I am expecting plenty of bugs and gameplay mechanics oversights.

Respectful constructive criticism will be very helpful

I expect that after seeing Man of Steel and as more  New 52 Superman things comes out I hope that i will be able to adapt what I see there into this Mugen character.

Credits are in the read me

Known bugs:
-Some characters get bugged w/ lv3 hyper. They will get uppercut but fall down soon after.
-Some charaters when frozen cannot be hit w/ <-(charge 45 ticks), ->,Y move.
-Flight mode ai and overall functionality needs alot of work (not really a bug, more of a wip)



06/27/13 update:
-Tweaked Earth punch Hyper for more dmg and fixed rock's distance so the wave is smoother.
-Took out Solar Shield Hyper
-Took out Fly mode
-Added Aerial Fwd dash and Aerial Back Dash
-New low Mid kick

7/31/13
Update time.
-New experimental move ->, <-, -> Strong Punch.
-Flight Attack moved to ->, <-, -> Strong Kick
-New Y dive attack properties
-New crouching mid kick heat vision fx.
-Some Clsn box clean up from the original
-Flymode codes inserted. Just follow the instructions on how to enable it. (Only for those who wanted it)
Caution: This did not go through as much testing time as it did the 1st time I released. Expecting bugs and gameplay tweaks in time.
-The new move ->, <-, -> strong punch. Sometimes on certain opponents, They dont bounce up or is able to recover on the 2nd hit. Im still exploring best   possible way to fix that.

-New face on alot of the sprites. (not 100% but i covered most static moves and poses)
-New heat vision. I changed it so it wont cut off then using it in mugen 1.1 and zoomed out.
-New super heat vision
-new hit sounds. It really makes a difference
-maybe some minor changes that i forgot. its been a while

I put it in a separate dl in case you dont like the change.


Notice the difference form the 1st release?

Yeah it was part of the original's. I honestly dont know why i kept it. If alot of people dont like it, Ill remove it.

-Updated. some bugs and kick boxes and missing hitsparks

For now as long as he works and doesn't crash or anything super crazy unbalanced im happy w/ my lil attempt of a superman edit.

Congratulations, now I have more options regarding superman


This is my slight feedback, you may not need to accept all what I say

*The fly can be removed Mode

*Add air dash

*Add more jumps in the air with him, as hawkman zvitor

*The bizarre mode is unnecessary, is better off without him.


I have not found bugs yet, besides, I have nothing to complain about, did a good job and if you can improve it even better Very Happy

Very good work. I must say, I love this new look and moveset. However, I think, that don't need Bizzaro mode.

Maybe in future versions you will use more smart palette:

Yeah, 1.0 is much better than Winmugen. I'm surprised people still use it. O.o; I mean, it NEVER crashes; doesn't lag as much, if at all; more characters are available for it... I just don't get it. o.o

a detail that does not stop liking is the heat vision but anyway,
I see others so sensational and enjoyable.

a detail for those who know that the mugen 1.0 does not accept me buttons: zxasqw, or azsxdc someone could say because only the buttons: zxc work, thanks.
