Ok so in mugen 1.0 in the system txt it says do not change small port from 9000,1 in the char select part. Ok so i want to make a different small port for char selects but dont want change the 9000,1 pcx in every chars .sff........sooo i attempted to add another .pcx to the .sff and numbered it 777,777 & changed the system.def to look for that pcx instead of 9000,1 but mugen crashes.


How do i get around this without having to replace the 9000,1 in every char?

You don't the 9000,1 is default kind of like the required get hot sprites.

im also having this problem everytime i change the old small portrait for the new pcx file it crash

I just add the new pcx at the end of the .sff as 777,777 then change it to 9000,0 then delete orig 9000,0 pcx and save. That works fine. But i dont want ppl to have to do that to use my sp. Wanted to make an easier route. Ill figure somethin out.always do. Couple pots of coffee and allnighter and ill get it. Thnx tho yuuuuuung, yous mah ninja! Lol
