• This is something some people asked me and its a fan favorite (*cough* zvitor *cough*): Wolverine (and maybe Tigra) will be able to climb the tall robots, like Golem and Sentinel.


After that, he will execute an auto attack.

• Jhfer finished the Spiderwoman sheet.

Each time that you show on this game, more increases will play, especially with tigra, I love the fact that it playable. ilu ilu

Finally I've found some free time to work on this project. Here are the updates:

1) I changed all players life value, because I always think they die too easily. So people like Emma Frost, Black Cat, Quicksilver won't die easily (their life value had doubled). And people with max life value (Hulk, Thor, etc) will last even longer.

2) Hawkeye had some revamp, to be a shooter he needs to be
A- His arrows now cost less power (50%)
B- His normal arrow almost cost no power, but it does less damage.
C- He can shoot arrows on the air (I will still decide which propriety it will have)
D- He even can shoot arrows while rising from the ground (riseattack), with no cost
E- Now he has another combo finisher, a fast bow spin attack (works kinda like Green Arrow's attack in Injustice), finishing with a manual arrow
F- He can use his arrows manually, to work like a knife in some attacks

Hawkeye now can grab enemies and attack, with some combos with arrows.



(a 2-hits shoryuken-like attack, finishing with an arrow shot)

And I am thinking about something which is bothering since long time: to give make all chars be able to run. The only 2 characters which doesn't runs, Hawkeye and Thor, doesn't makes much sense. Hawkeye is very agile and Thor can fly.

So, probabily, I will let both characters run.

Roster:

Playables - 14

Quicksilver, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Captain America, War Machine, Beast, Thor, Namor, Hulk, Emma Frost, Brand, Black Cat, Vision, Wolverine

Wips (more complet to early stages, from left to right)

Red Hulk, Tigra, Black Knight, Hercules, Spider Woman, Psylocke, Human Torch

Since I am very overloaded with jobs in my RL, I decided - as I should did since the start - to face this as a hobby and to not push myself to a specific date of release. It will be released when I think its enough.

Maybe this can sound arrogant, but its not my idea. I will explain: this decision made my mind softer and reverted this project to be something enjoyable to do, not a heavy obligation as I imposed myself. Mea Culpa.

Some points I would like to share:

• I am using the latest build of OpenBOR - which had fixed the combination of weapon + block, so now you will be able to block with characters that use model weapon, such as Emma Frost. But...this broke some of my random sounds, as in Hawkeye's attacks. I will need to check it further.

• Game size - As expected, the overall game size had grown.
Files - The first demo (pak only) weights 35mb, with 2786 files. The latest version weights 71mb with 6385 files (I still need to cut some fat)
Playable characters - 10 in the last version. 14 in the current one (and maybe it will go to 16).
NPC - 4 in the last version. 15+ on the current one.
Stages - 5 (I am count per stage, not per level). Now its 15+.
Helpers - None at previous version. 11 at current one.

• Loading time - The loading time increased too. While its still acceptable, I think I could upgrade it.
Testing on an old mobile, Zvitor's game took 25-30 seconds to load. Mine took 56 seconds. But his game has 245mb complete while mine have 70mb in demo. I will see what I can do.

• I think I am finished with Hawkeye's updates. Now whenever he spawns on the screen, he unleashes a rain of arrows to clean the area

I also agree, everything in its time, and the game is better and more complete.
and cheering for that tigra is including in the roster, I think that I can play with it i could wait until the next decade.

Here are the enemies I still need to decide if I will use them or the Hydra Four in the Hydra stage: U-FOES (still need to be resized)

X-Ray, Ironclad, Vapor and Vector

Any thoughts?

Another question: We finally found the good size for Iceman, because I was using IronMan as a guide but he is totally wrong.


But should his borders be black (as everyone) or blue/dark blue to match a ice better?

- how much is thing in your game again? i ask because wondering if that ironclad edit of an 8-bit thing would be too much. probably not, but you asked about thoughts Smile the others look great even if i don't know much about them
- go with blue/dark blue on iceman
