It was kinda disappointing but at the same time a brilliant move because everyone thought he was going to be the big cheese
At first I thought he was just a decoy double to distract from the real Mandarin.
Also the thing with that Pepper lady in the end felt a little weird because she is engraved to me as that damsel in distress. It was just so weird seeing her kick ass. But that's just me
BTW I bet the Iron Patriot character here got more downloads after this LOL
He was pretty cool throughout the whole movie and naturally he was just awesome but surprisingly both he and the Iron man suit were really down played and the focus this time was even more geared to the men underneath. The suits were literally destroyed like nothing one by one.
It was really cool though to finally see them all get used one by one or all at the same time.
I wish they would have done different things special to their own design, very few of them even looked different except for a few that were just a bit larger.
I was expecting one of them to specialize in lazers, the other one with scatter shots, and a flamethrower model or something but none of that never came up
It's not the best in the Trilogy but it does offer some nice stuff in the mix. I think the story could have been hammered out a little more. A lot of it can be hard to follow and literally too much was going on for younger viewers to follow. The previous film is a better movie in my opinion.
Also Stark had some kind of PTSD syndrome and the avengers movie was referenced as the reason for this. I thought that in the climax of the final fight it would come up again for the usual overcoming adversity bit we always see in movies. Strangely though it didn't
Iron man 2 had a better story in my opinion and the scenes with Whiplash were very deep. Plus War Machine and Tony fought side by side against a barrage just like the Iron Man 3 movie, so basically it was really similar.
I like 2 more than 3, espcailly for the comic relief of that one guy.
and that scene with the failed iron man replicas lol
Although I must say I did like the acting of Guy Pearce
He is a really great actor and he was pretty awesome in Iron Man 3. The cast was certainly better in Iron Man 3.

Yeah great series to, I liked the ending, it wrapped up a trilogy really well with Stark in a sense retiring his job, or at least i think he retired. I wasn't sure on that though, it was vague sometimes. He is in the next avengers movie, right?
